Introduction
The Hybrid Networking Research Laboratory (HNRL) at Swansea University, Wales UK, was founded by Dr Kyeong Soo (Joseph) Kim in 2007. The HNRL has carried out research in next-generation optical access (NGOA) and hybrid optical-wireless networking under Dr Kim's guidance since then. The focus of current research is on the implementation of the virtual test bed for NGOA and WLAN-based localization for future location awareness services.
